Logan Hedrick - Vocalist

Becoming a vocalist has been my dream since childhood, inspired by watching my dad, grandpa, and uncle perform in bands such as Dice, Cinema Blue, and Throwdown Jones. From karaoke competitions to talent shows to American Idol, I've always been passionate about music. Joining Whiskey Down three years ago transformed my view of live performances. A special person to me, Kim Dellinger, witnessed me singing the National Anthem at my high school graduation. That performance led me to Whiskey Down where I have learned so much! Since then, I've learned how to turn my passion into a profession, and we've performed over 150 shows, including North and South Carolina, Darlington, and Goodyear 400! I also learned some drums along the way. My goal is to tour the U.S. and showcase our talent, always believing that “the sky is the limit, but don’t stop there—keep going!”

Kevin Freeman - Bassist

Music has always been a part of my life, influenced by my father's bluegrass and country background. I naturally gravitated towards playing guitar and bass, inspired by bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Van Halen during my teenage years. I started playing in a garage band and toured local junior high schools. However, I later shifted my focus to professional wrestling, traveling the U.S. for two decades while maintaining my passion for music. After retiring from wrestling, I reconnected with former bandmates and played in various local bands, including Justifyed and SuckerPunch, and recorded two albums with BoneDryver. About a year ago, I joined Whiskey Down and also play for my church's praise team. Music is deeply ingrained in me, and I feel grateful for the talent I’ve been given, believing I will continue to play in Heaven one day. Thank you, God, for the talent that you have given me.

Donnie Basham - Keys & Rhythm Guitar

Started singing and playing at an early age. My parents were part of a gospel group that played all over. Then as a teen in church and school choir as well as a touring group called "Highest Praise." Formed my own band my senior year and won the talent show at school. Went on to play for various groups including "Steal Horses," "Plaztuk Pony," "Buick Mackane," and others. Down the road some recording in Nashville with "Silver Wing Records." Also performed at the "Music City Sheraton" as well as the "Opreland Hotel." Became a keyboardist and guitar player for "Whiskey Down" three months ago and still do an acoustic gig or two on the side. My life only feels right when I'm involved with music. I wouldn't have it any other way.

David Caviness - Guitar

I was blessed to grow up in a musically rich family, influenced by my grandfather and uncle's barn dances and my sisters' hippie culture. My oldest sister recorded music in the '60s, introducing me to artists like Cat Stevens and Led Zeppelin. I played trombone in school but felt constrained by traditional music lessons. At 15, my mother gifted me my first guitar, a Stratocaster copy Sears and Roebuck special, which sparked my musical journey. I learned from local musicians and formed bands with friends, leading to a memorable performance that literally blew up at a high school concert. Over the years, I created several bands, including Riverside, Zavior, Sucker Punch, Buick MacKane, and now Whiskey Down, which has performed across the Carolinas since its formation in 2020. The band's success surged when vocalist Logan Hedrick joined in 2022. Throughout my journey, I've built a studio and recorded various genres, all while staying true to my passion for rock and roll. Ultimately, I just wanted to play lead guitar, and now I've found my place with Whiskey Down, embracing the power of music and good vibes.

Kat Stevenson - Drummer

Music has always been my passion, a source of escape and therapy throughout my life. It drives my career as an elementary music teacher, private lessons instructor, and drummer in the most amazing rock band. Music is my heart and soul, allowing me to express myself and minister to others. I attribute my talents to God, as music is essential to my life alongside my family and faith. Currently, I teach at Burke County Schools and specialize in private music lessons for all ages. I also enjoy performing in musical theater. I'm excited about the future with Whiskey Down!
